By opting in to receive SMS or MMS text messages from A Catered Affair, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Program Description

A Catered Affair offers an SMS messaging program to provide customers, prospective customers, event planners, venues, and other contacts with helpful information related to catering inquiries, consultations, proposals, orders, events, and customer service.

Messages may include catering inquiry responses, consultation scheduling, proposal updates, menu planning communications, order confirmations, event reminders, delivery or pickup updates, staffing and setup coordination, event day logistics, customer support messages, and, where applicable, promotional or marketing messages.

Message and data rates may apply.

Message frequency varies.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS and MMS message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network availability and is not guaranteed.

Opt Out and Help

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After you reply STOP, we may send a confirmation message to let you know that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that messaging program unless you opt in again.

User Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from A Catered Affair at the number you provided.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase, catering service, event booking, consultation, or quote request.

You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide. You agree to notify us if your mobile number changes or if you are no longer authorized to use that number.

Supported Use

You agree to provide a valid mobile number and to use the SMS messaging service only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to use the SMS messaging service to send unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, harassing, or inappropriate communications.

A Catered Affair reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS messaging program at any time, with or without notice.

Privacy

Your use of our SMS messaging program is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share SMS related information with service providers, wireless carriers, messaging platforms, and technology vendors as needed to deliver messages, maintain records, comply with law, and operate the messaging program.
